Consider the shape of a present before selecting giftwrap. A box can be wrapped in thick paper while a more flexible material like handmade paper, tissue paper and/or cellophane is best when wrapping awkward shapes.

Take the time to measure the correct amount of giftwrap. It makes for faster and neater wrapping.

Look at the giftwrap design before cutting a sheet lengthways or widthways. Sometimes it determines your decision.
