An eco-friendly festive message

What would you make if you wanted to create a Christmas decoration using a couple of branches?

Excited to have learnt how to use a table saw some time ago I had cut branches into discs. In December I decided it was time to put some of them to good use.  

I burnt different patterns and designs into the wood using my pyrography kit which includes a heated tip with different heads.  All that remained was to glue the discs together to complete this unique and eco-friendly festive decoration.
