Styling for Special Events

Whether for a party, wedding or other special celebration I can bring style and originality to your event.  It may be by designing and creating unique table centrepieces or a themed table display, or perhaps coming up with innovative ways to decorate even the dreariest of venues.

Original table centrepieces are increasingly popular

For Nicola and Jonathan’s cricket-themed silver wedding celebration at the Sussex County Cricket Club the Wisden-inspired design was a big hit.  In fact many guests left with them at the end of the evening.  The management of the club also asked to keep one which is on display in the boardroom!

Creative solutions

Clients’ requests have ranged from styling an elegant afternoon tea for a 100th birthday to transforming a bleak banqueting suite into a bright and beautiful ‘seaside’ complete with stylised sail boats for a bat mitzvah party.  There was also a fun feast when all the food was wrapped – in effect, ‘pass the parcel’ for adults!

We were arranging a family party for our joint birthdays – 90 and 80. Heading my “do not want” list was the popular circular flower-arrangement in the middle of each table. But what?  Multi-talented Arona came to our rescue. For each table she made a decorative small “tree” with leaves of tiny photos of us depicting special occasions through our lives.  What a wonderful idea!  Cecile, Brighton

Arona had the idea, developed the concept, supported the fashioning and provided the finishing touches. A much admired and talked about celebration table centrepiece. Even the cricket ground has kept one. Why would you want flowers!! Nicola and Jonathan, Hove
