From forgotten fabric to Covid face coverings

Some vintage fabric came in very handy when I needed to make Covid face coverings in 2020.

When Coronavirus caused us to wear them I decided to make my own using offcuts of fabric that had been buried in a suitcase.

A great believer in ‘waste not, want not’ my mother could never have imagined how I would use material left over from outfits made for her many years ago.  For some reason she even kept a single sleeve…which I transformed into two pleated masks!
